What is Yoga? 

  • In Sanskrit yoga means to yoke, or to unify. My take on yoga is that it helps to bring awareness to the soul through the movement of the body, and focus of the mind.

Do I need to be flexible and balanced to practice yoga?

  • No, that is a myth. When it comes down to it, yoga is what you create with the guidance of the instructor. Do what feels comfortable for your body, and make the practice your own.
